My build up for FF'13

Phase I.....


I'll start from the beginning.

Here is what I started with>:





Then I bought a few things.....

-SVT black housings:




-Megan Racing 2" drop coils:





-ASA JH2 18x7.5 et45 on 215/40ZR18 BFGoodrich G-force KDW2:








-SVT upper grille:




-Smoked side markers:




-SVT Degas cover and Hvac controls, CF shorty antenna, and massive plug wires:








-Custom SRI.



-Custom SVT lower grille /w fogs.







-SVT lip:







-Cleaned up the engine bay, installed a breather filter:



-Painted the mirror caps:






-Disciplerocks made me mod list for FITF '12:




-Then came FITF '12 in harvard, Ill:

End Of phase 1....

Phase II

-I bought another front bumper to replace my damaged one:










Then the SPI took it's last breath.





-The dreaded zetec swap began:
































































-Off to the dealer to get the PATS system reprogrammed:

Phase III


The dealership told me the motor is toast, and when I took the car to them the exhaust wasn't finished it was all there the two ends just needed welded together. They refused to weld the exhaust so I went to get the car cause I didn't want them messing around with it any more, plus I couldn't afford another engine any time soon.

When I got the car home I found the exhaust was damaged most likely from them pulling the car into the workshop with no care for the car at all.

So that's where I'm at today, my progress is to get the engine replaced again, and get the exhaust replaced with new stuff.

Is the salvage yard you got the engine from going to give you another one free of charge? Because if it came bad, wouldn't they have to give you a new one?

Yea they would have, it came with a 30day warranty. But they guy I hired to put it in for me faild to do so in that time. That's a whole other story I ended up doing it my self pretty much. Its been a complete disaster ever since the spi went out, every thing that can go wrong has.

That sucks, have you thought about just buying a new car? I'm sure you have but im just wondering. Are you going to be going to the Ford dealer about the exhaust they screwed up?

Yea I've already bought another car. Had some issue with it as well, they also treated me and my wife like complete shit. But as of last week all is taken cared for and they apologized. Like ass holes but they apologized, done with that place too.

No the ford dealer refused to take responsibility for the damage. I tried to press charges but their word against mine I got no where. I didn't like the ford dealer before I took the car there and I still don't.

I'm ready to just get all this crap behind me and get this car rolling again. I'm done with people, I'm done with asking for help.

What kind of car did you buy to replace it with? If you said they,do you mean you bought a car from a dealer? That sucks about the Ford dealer screwing you... Makes you wonder how they stay open when they are such s. Also, what has made you not give up on it? In all honesty, if all this had happened to me I would have called it quits and junked it.

I bought a 2004 Mazda6 S. The mazda had CEL when we test drove it, and they promised to fix it if we bought it. Well it turns out it a few other things wrong with it too, it spent three weeks of the first month I owned it in their shop. They refused to pay for any of it. But after some yelling and arguing, they paid for 75% of it and the car is fixed. Fingers crossed.

I love the focus too much to turn my back on it, it crossed my mind believe me. I was warned years in advanced about the SPI and did nothing. I have been to several focus meets and have met lots of great people and I really had a great time. I want to get back into it so I can continue to enjoy being a focus enthusiast and doing something I grown to love.
