I forgot jumper cables on my list. They're always there.
A spare serpentine belt is a great idea, my old focus stranded me multiple times because of this.

Gosh, I've got tons of stuff. Full tool kit, Full first aid kit (I'm emergency response certified through red cross, so I actually know how to use it too, lol) spare clothes, 1 can of chili and a bottle of water (in case I flip into a ravine or something... ya never know) duct tape, double sided tape, CEL code scanner... My smith and wesson and a box of spare ammo, sanitizer (for cleaning hands or wounds, again, you never know) jumper cables, a spare quart of oil, an emergency cell phone with car and wall charger that stays off and is only for emergency calls... my SOG multitool stays in there too. That thing is awesome. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head at the moment.

Oh, and the most useful thing (and the only thing out of all of that except the tool kit that I've used) is my AAA membership card and a cell phone. Had my car towed twice or 3 times this year, and my motorcycle once.

Some of you could probably improve your 0-60 times if you unloaded all your supplies. How are you securing all this stuff so that it doesn't go flying around when you are tearing up the twisties? I carry the bare minimum: LED flashlight, spare fuses, quart of oil, Mechanix gloves, tire pressure gauge, a few other things. Holden (aka Pontiac) was nice enough to include a set of wheel chocks that collapse and stow neatly under the spare tire.

I NEVER carry jumper cables anymore. First, plenty can go wrong, and cost you or the person you jump a lot of money.
My reason for this is a few years ago at work, late, a coworker wanted someone to jump her boyfriends car.. I foolishly admitted i had cables.
I did not want to do it. (the temps outside were in the single digits) but she nagged and nagged. So I agreed.
Well the result was the 'to be jumped' cars entire electrical system got fried. My car was not harmed, but it was a wake up call.
So now, no way will I carry jumper cables.

Weird... I've jumped probably over 100 cars in my days as a Security Guard, and I've never had an issue... Although we had portable jump packs. Not sure if that makes a difference.
