Motor Mount and Jackpoint Jack Stands

So I bought the upgraded mount from Central Florida Motorsports. $60 or so +shipping. This is actually a Ford part, from the hybrid from what I understand. The install was very easy, though the mount itself did not come with instructions, I had previously emailed them for a copy of the instructions. The instructions are for an ST maybe (I have an S), and what looks like the Mazda mount. Barring those issues the install was not too difficult. One issue is access to the bolts with a torque wrench, the access is fairly limited.

I also bought Jackpoint Jackstands so I can lift up half of the car.

Here is the original next to the upgraded one. You can see how thin the aluminum is next to the upgraded. Also you can move the rubber around too.

These stands are designed so that you can lift the car with the jacking point then put the stand around the jack and lower the platform onto the stand. One note, my 3 ton Craftsman jack was too tall, I had to take the 'cup' out. If you get these stands you are going to need a low profile jack. I have ordered one and will post next time I use them.
