Just got two packages today: Cossie intake manifold showed up first, then the 67mm throttle body! Sadly enough I won't be putting the intake manifold on right away; going to be doing a little P/P work on it first.

what are your plans for P/P? I wouldnt touch it unless you picked up the knockoff- then cleanup is in order.

Just because the IM is Cossie made, doesn't mean it doesn't need a little cleanup of the surfaces as well as porting the intake runners to make sure they better match the head. Later on down the road when I'm ready to get cams, I'll probably pickup another 2.3 head from the junkyard, rebuild it with fresh cams/springs/retainers and probably have a P/P job done on it before I install it. I think that will be a better way to do it so that I don't have to leave the car non-op for very long.

I have seen a lot of the cosi intakes and haven't seen much room to improve on them , I would be careful where you ported the intake

When you get ready for a tune I can help if interested and you will get free tune updates as you add more NA mods as well as my datalogging services

These "xmas gifts" as I call them were just gifts for me from myself. Wish it wasn't xmas so I didn't have to set aside the rest of money for family's gifts or I'd get even more parts.

I'm just going to use the intake manifold gasket to mark the head intake ports and compare that to the manifold to see if any material needs to be taken off the manifold. If it matches up perfectly first try I obviously won't bother porting it.
