Discontinued, so how long...

...until someone starts manufacturing their own SVT rear disc conversion kits? Most of the parts can still be found (calipers, pads, brake lines, etc.), but the rear caliper brackets are practically impossible to find; Rock Auto doesn't even have them. I'm assuming it would be some type of copyright infringement to make a mold and start casting your own, but there's got to be some way to make a bracket that works? So, what's the chance we'll ever see another kit?

I'm would not be surprised if someone out there makes a kit, not a SVT kit but a rear disc conversion for the focus. I'm sure it's a bit pricey too.

Ya, if I recall Camaro rear brake rotors are either 12.9" or 13" rotors. Haha.

Baer has a kit that uses 12'' rotors & you supply the camaro/firebird calipers. Kind of spendy when you get done. I missed out on Baers rear track kit using '94-'04 cobra calipers. = discountined. As I've said before "You'd think that frpp's would come out w/ the 10'' kit" Ford asleep at the switch again.

I have a set a rear brackets that I've considered taking to a machine shop to make copies and sell them. I'm not sure if it would be legal though. That's why I have not yet. As long as sell them privately as one off pieces it should be legal right?

Just make note of the mounting hole locations and then design your own shape that still works

Don't forget 'bout making a exstention bracket using the shorter 10'' caliper bracket. Use the exstention bracket between the caliper bracket & spindle mount. Simiar like they do for some front bbk's.
