Question: Do I need to empty my gastank?
Hey guys,
I recently got a tune on a flasher that is gonna put my car up to 91 octane. The programming as it is right now is stock so I'm using regular. My tank is half-full. Do I need to empty it and put in 91 before I tune, or can I tuen it andrun on the 87octane for a few days? |

i would wait till its less than a quarter tank, than fill up with 91. or throw some octane booster in and fill up with 93 if accessible.

Yup same here, run it out and fill up with 93. Also why did you get a 91oct tune and not a 93oct?

Here in Texas 93 octane is very abundant. Gotta love Texas and our refineries lol

Just drive it out, it's way too much of a hassle to drain it, trust me on that lol

Ha, yeah, I looked up some videos on youtube and I really don't feel like putting my car up on ramps after getting off work at 1am....I'll just have to take the scenic route home...

I fill up w/ premium after I ordered my tune, makes it easier.
