no high beams after installing hid kit

I'm helping out my cousins friend, it's his car not mine (2005 focus). So the title says it all (bi-xenon kit), and I checked everything twice, even three times. Now the high beam switcher thing does have power to it, so I have no idea whats going on. Anyone else run into this problem? Also sorry if this is in the wrong place

What kit did you get? If it is a replacement bulb kit, then you did not get a high beam, you got screwed. This is why true bi-xenon "kits" are so expensive.

Ive seen some kits that have a servo that moves the bulb up and down a bit to mimic high-beams, but its not truely bi-xenon.

Take some pictures and link us to the kit you bought.

I can't take pictures of it cause he's in class right now. Anyone know what colors go to what like the blue, white and the brown? Also the kit came from eBay and the seller is orangemika can't give a link due to me being on my phone.

iv heard a ton of bad about the ebay kits , those bulbs look alot like my old servo bulbs .

also youv said nothing about retrofitting proper projectors into those housings , do they have them already ? if not i highly suggest going back to halogen bulbs. but if you must have hids , at least buy a good kit , go to the retrofitsource.com

Well like I said he bought them and he wanted me to put them in. The wires have power and everything but they just don't switch to high beams.
