Sync, adding aftermarket amp with LOC question.
Hello,
I will be adding an amp and components to my 2012 FOFO hatch with the 6 speaker system. I want to splice into the speaker wires from the harness that runs down under the dash on the passenger side. There is also a yellow power antenna wire there that I believe is "hot" as long as the hu is turned on. I wanted to use this as my remote turn on for the amp. My question is when the hu is powered off will the sync system still play a phone call thru the speakers or will the amp be powered off? Does the sync system power the antenna wire up when there is an incoming phone call? Thanks! |
