Did they fix the volume control (poor granularity)?

I'm sure that the answer is no but I had to ask anyway.

MFT 3.5.1 working great. Got new A4 card. Navigation is more responsive. Try typing in a destination address as a test... way faster. iPhone texts received are displayed or spoken if you want (I suppose you don't want that automatic for passengers to view). Indexing and voice commands build were super fast with ~7500 songs. DST is automatic now. General little improvements like that sprinkled in. And the calls are much clearer...

If you have WiFi enabled theres a little indicator now next to the I on the bottom of the screen... seems they are working toward something going on with that.

Went through all functions and menus and couldn't find anything to complain about.

What iPhone do you have? have a 4S and when I try the text option it states that the feature is not supported by the phone. What did I miss?

iPhone5, but I think the key is iOS6. Yes, you can't send texts yet but you can receive them. Go into SYNC device under Bluetooth on your phone and enable Notifications. Then have someone send you a text.

Faygo, can quantify (or semi-quantify) super fast when you get a sec? Mine has been all over the board. A couple in the normal half hour range (iPod Classic w/about 6200 tracks), one took about an hour, and one took just over 2 1/2 hours (no changes on the iPod with all of these).

Seem to recall I had a similar problem after 3.0.2 and I had to restore and reload the iPod and reset MFT. Seems like a weekend project.

Just looking for a frame of reference on time.

The only thing that I've noticed, I'm assuming that I now have the latest version since they replaced the entire MFT system and added an update earlier this week is that with HD Radio Active, the Display of the Song is now smaller than the Artist.. so it just looks awkward. Doesn't do this when using a USB device, CD, or Sirius. Maybe Ford will get it right eventually.

I'm gonna say about 10 minutes for index and 10 for build. This is an iPod Classic 160gb.

I tend to get this often. It is extremely annoying.

Thanks Faygo, just looking for a frame of reference (that 2 1/2 hour one I had was when I forced a manual reindex through MFT). I'm close enough on the others. Won't worry about it unless it starts getting worse.
