HTC One S & Myford touch

I just got this phone a couple of days ago. HTC One S. I blue toothed it with Myford touch and everything worked flawlessly. I was able to read and here texts, the whole thing worked as advertised. Until yesterday. It won't work anymore. I can listen to music and make calls but the texting has stopped. If I send a message from the radio is says "message sent" but it never arrives. I have no idea what the hell happened. I've tried re-connecting etc, and it still won't work. just wanted to know if any of you have experienced this?

I love when stuff stops working for no rhyme or reason.

I got the same issue with Galaxy S3. First day was fine and the second day no.

Hey, Darth_Focus & draudecif -

Have either of you tried rebooting your phone? If not, I recommend it. If you have and it didn't help, try removing SYNC from your phone, performing a Master Reset on the system, and re-pairing your device. Here are the instructions:

Also, on your phone make sure in the advanced Bluetooth options "Message Access" is on. My HTC One X would not text from MFT untill I turned it on.

I've tried all of the above and message access and ftp server have been and always were set to on. Still no texting is available. Myford touch does not even see it. There used to be a little mail icon beside the phone name.

When you re-paired your phone did you also remove Sync from your phone before doing so or just delete the phone from MFT? Also, what version of MFT are you on?

I think its 3.0.2. I actually performed a hard reset (fuse pull) and now everything is working fine again. Ford is doing some other warranty work on the car Monday. wondering If i should get the MFT updated
