Because of all they grey on the trim, etc in the car, I decided to get the grey suede headliner kit from http://www.headsuponline.com/

Thanks to TheGlassMaker for the link! The cost was only $53.00 So it is a lot cheaper than what I was going to do

So, I started my headliner project. Here is the result of day 1:

I pulled all the pillars.

I vinyl-wrapped them with 3M 1080 black brushed-metal

Added a piece of clear door trim to help protect the vinyl-wrap from tearing on the seatbelt

It is still on on-going process with the vinyl-wrap, but I hope to get the rest done today.

Day 2 will be pulling the headliner and wiring it.

Thanks! It's fairly simple to pull the trim off, you just got to know where the clips are or you risk breaking them.

Very nice. I'm going to have to try this when it's time to redo my pillars. Looks great.

Pillars looking good. Kinda hard to see the brushed metal detail in the pics due to the texture. Did you add any additional adhesive or just put it straight on as is?

Suede headliner looks nice but like Daniel the different sheens would drive me nuts. Kinda like when someone makes tracks in carpet when vacuuming.
