Funny about the armrest. Just took mine out to go to an SVT one. Can't stand the armrest lol. Each to their own.
Thanks!
If mine was an MTX, then I see the reason for removing the armrest. Mine is an ATX and an armrest with the storage area in it is more important than another useless cupholder lol

Thanks!

I got the Massive install kit for my custom shaved Contour VC today! It includes the Massive oil cap, hardware kit and a Fel-pro gasket.

I am also painting the mounting bracket for an Ingalls stiffy mount that I will be installing this weekend.

Didn't wanna clutter up your FF thread. Did you get your SVT header kit on?

"The Ingalls’ Stiffy™ engine torque damper, comprises of rod ends at each end, one of which attaches to the engine at a location spaced from the motor mounts and at the other to the chassis. The mounting location is selected to provide greater leverage than the motor mounts that are close-coupled relative to the torque axis. A proprietary elastomer is contained in the main body between the rod ends. An adjustment nut allows for the preload setting of elastomer for custom tuning. When torque is generated by the engine, incipient movement and oscillation are restrained and damped by the engine torque damper. Power is delivered smoothly to the wheels and to the road for a quick launch.

The concept of firmly mounting the engine is well known in racing. Racecars often have the engines hard-mounted. Racecars also rumble and judder and otherwise break things. Hard mounting is not only uncomfortable, it leads to breakage. That is why the wise street tuner said, “moderation in all things.” The Ingalls’ Stiffy tm engine torque damper is not a hard-mount system. The proprietary elastomer provides smooth, controlled though limited engine movement to avoid truly harsh engine reactions reaching the chassis. Smooth, firmly controlled transmission of torque is what the tires want for effective linkup. "

I didn't think there was a whole lot of benefit on an atx car????

I hear you on the armrest as far as atx vs mtx. But I didn't have one in my Kona for the 3 years I drove it and when I got the 5ive which had one it started bugging the crap out of me cuz I wasn't used to it. So I'm swapping it out.

so pretty much the same effect of a racing mount without the harsh "vibrations"??

and yeah, doesn't seem like an atx would benefit much from it.
No offense or anything.
