Have to keep resetting key fob

This just started about a month ago. I have two key fobs with brand new batteries. I know the sequence for syncing them. But that will only last about 3-4 days, then nothing. Anyone else ? Like I stated, the batteries are brand new and I've tried switching back and forth and the same thing happens. These are Ford fobs, not aftermarket. My son has the same fob for his Mustang Cobra and has no problems. Is it the fob or PATS ? It's just a PITA in the morning when I want the car unlocked and the interior lights to go on. And popping the hatch when my hands are full.

thats odd, you say your switching back and fourth between the fobs? Are you programing both fobs at the same time? If not then that what you need to do. Because when you just program one fob the car wont recognize the other one. So if your switching between fobs every few days that might be your problem. Other than that simple solution im not sure...

Actually, I'm just switching the batteries. I keep the one fob in the house as a backup. That's why I'm thinking the PATS. Because neither one will work unless I reprogram. There is no power interuption from the car either. I read on a UK site to unplug the green and blue connections on the PATS box for an hour or so, but that didn't work either. Some claimed it worked for them.

And yes, I've done both at the same time.
