need some tire help

Okay I have my rims chosen and everything but I am just completely lost on which tires I should go with?.. So many options and I have just no idea what to choose.. I'm looking for like a good year round tire, it doesn't snow that much here or that often. I was looking at the Bridgestone Potenza's?

Yeah I'm looking at the sparco assetto gara in either black or graphite, my car is on the pro kit now but I'm looking at getting sport lines, if I get 17s I would be able to just switch out my tires. But like the other thing is I don't really like a lot of sidewall I like just a perfect amount of sidewall, the stock tire size is 215/50, and its kinda almost the perfect amount of sidewall on the tire, but I don't know if I should go a size smaller. I'm not really good with tires lol

You want a tire with some sidewall that's what protects the wheel more from bends and cracks from pot holes.and if you want lower you also have to think about will the 18 rub over bumps..the 17 IMO will look the best and not out of place

True. I think I'm gonna get the 17s but I'm thinking 215/50 is to much sidewall, I don't like when they look like truck tires. I was think 215/45 or maybe 215/40?
