Purchased slightly used 2012 Focus SEL. Missing two small parts. Help me find them?

These things would probably go unnoticed to some. Sadly, I was in quality control for almost 16 years.

The first is the ring around the ignition. This may not even be a part but it seems like something is missing. Maybe just a plastic piece that could have fallen off?





The second is a small plastic piece that's on the hatchback's divider (thing in the middle of it). I took a picture of the one that's on the right side but the left side is missing.



Both of these things are small. However, I'd imagine they are also both very inexpensive and I don't mind purchasing them to make the vehicle 100%.. instead of 99.8%. :)

There actually isn't an ignition ring. On the push-button start equipped Foci there's a plastic cover that snaps in place to cover the key slot. Looks rather unfinished without, unfortunately.

That is weird! Lol.

I saw some custom ones on eBay. May spend the $10.00 to make it look nifty.

I just ordered one of those ignition rings from ebay. I will post a pic when it gets here from China. That other missing piece is just a little bump stop/rest. The Ford dealer ought to be able to get that for not too much money.

I will go out on a limb and say you may have to live with the missing hatch piece. Ford may just have it lumped with the covers and not separate. That's the way they were on the old hatches.

Just kidding!!!

I never did tell anyone about this but when I bought my 2009 Focus SE coupe,somehow or another somebody at the assembly plant put an SE sedan chrome headlamp assembly on my car when there should've been an SE coupe(with the black/grey insert)headlamp assembly,making the car look a little "quirky"(it was replaced with a proper one by the dealer).

I emailed the manufacturer/seller and suggested a version with no text, just a faux carbon fiber ring or plain aluminum. Nobody using these can even see much less read the text, and we all know which way to turn the key, thus the text is superfluous. They would see what the manufacturer said. Who knows, maybe a better version will be coming. If it does, I will buy it.
