Lucas Oil Fuel System cleaner - Opinions?

What's peoples opinions on the Lucas Oil fuel cleaner fluid that you can add to the gas tank (not the oil)? Good/bad? My friend uses it is in Ranger truck (a 2001) and he hasn't had issues, and he sears by it. I'm a bit curious what others think of this product (aside from the additional cost)?

I'm not big on putting additives in my car, but during the winter, I'm more open to it, especially if it can help the engine run better, get better fuel economy and prevent it from having issues when it gets really cold (freezing up--I live in Northern Illinois so we can get some cold winters here, although the last two weren't that cold).

Good or bad product? Would it be safe to use in my 2012 Focus for maintenance purposes??

I use the lucas fuel system cleaner every time i do an oil change or plan on going on a long trip. I believe it works, and ive seen it fix some shitty gas on a buddies car. You shouldnt have a problem using it on your 2012.

I'm partial to BG's 44K which I put in all my vehicles once a year and have been for over 15 years and I saw good results keeping my injectors clean (datalogging showed this) on my abused/raced turbo Eclipse and the piston tops had minimal carbon buildup when the cylinder head was removed at 130k miles. It's generally over $20/can but I feel it's worth it.
