general engine swap needed info
So I know this forum is about ford focus, I have one but looking to get another car. Looking into getting an IS 300. Now my question is if you do an engine swap, regardless of make or model, what all is needed other than said engine?

depends on the engines
questions to ask yourself does the transmission mate? do the harnesses mate? driveshafts? engine mounts?

ok so what if all of these match up, would u need the ecu from the new engine or could u use the one thats already on the car?
