Headlamp clearcoat peeling

I have a 2011 focus se with 15500k on it and the corners of drivers side and passengers side headlamps have clear coat peeling. I have it going in to Tasca ford tomorrow and will see what they say. I don't need my headlamps turning cloudy and yellow on me when the car is still like new. Got it in june of 2011 was a left over and only had 100 miles in it. Has anyone else had a problem with headlamps

That seems abnormal to me. My 08 lenses are still clean and clear. Other MK2 I have seen look fine too. You are doing the right thing by taking it to the dealer. Maybe you will get new headlamps. I would suggest to you to be firm and request replacement. Let us know how it goes.

mine does the same thing.... not a big issue to me i just live w/ it.

My '11 has almost 32k miles and no clearcoat problems. You need to take it in.

Mine do it too. I say, no big deal. Just use some lens resto on it and all should be well. I know that this is an issue on the Halo Projectors and has been solved in the same way though.

You can sand it off, buff the lenses and then apply a film such as LaminX.

Well they replaced 1 headlight so far. They ordered both sides but one of them came in defective also so I have to wait for other headlight to come in. Tasca ford Cranston Rhode Island has been very great to me and the customer service there is excellent. So far any problem I have had they have been very nice. So if anyone has any problems with their ford and lives near Rhode island, I say check out Tasca ford in Cranston.
