Instument cluster bulbs need replacing

I have a 2002 Ford Focus. There are 3 bigger twist bulbs in the instrument cluster that appear to handle the backlighting for the entire cluster. All 3 are burnt out on mine. It says on the base of the bulb--- PC158 REPLACE ENTIRE ASSM --- If you could just pull out the bulb ie wedge bulb it would be no problem there are 158 wedge bulbs everywhere. But I cant seem to find the PC 158 entire base and bulb together. Short of going to the ford dealership does anyone know where I can get these bulbs. Thanks

Try Radio Shack. That's where I got all sort of bulbs for our Honda Van.

If you weren't in a huge rush I would send you a set. I replaced mine with blue LEDs, plus I have a second cluster in the basement. The scrap yard will have them, but if its not a u-pull yard, I'm not sure they would get them out for you.

Where did you get the blue LEDs and how much were they?

I ordered them on Ebay. You have to remove the green layer on the back of the gauge face plate for the blue to come through. I'm damn sure there's a How-To around here somewhere to change the entire cluster to LED in whatever color you can get the bulbs in.
