Intermediate servo accumulator spring and piston assembly
The assembly diagram for my 4F27E shows the spring and piston for the intermediate servo accumulator on the wrong side of the control valve lower body from how it gets installed. Should the spring be pressing against the lower body or the solenoid body?

The intermediate servo is in the trans case itself under the three bolt plate with a hole in it.
If you mean the small solenoid 'C' accumulator that goes between lower valve body and solenoid block itself, the cup goes against solenoid body and the spring against lower valve body. Per ATSG manual..............just looked. |
