3 season tires

After some reading it looks like the stock tires are summer only. They recommend not driving in wet or cold conditions on them. What 3 season tires would you recommend for the "winter" in California?

if you will never see snow, and the average temperature will never drop below freezing, then you'll be fine with the summer tires. Just be aware on those cold mornings if it ever gets below 50F, that tire perforance will be slightly reduced.

Most high performance summer tires are actually quite good in wet weather.

The stock summer only tires work great in 3 of the 4 seasons as well as in the wet. In Cali, there is probably no reason to ever take them off.

the question is, does it snow in your area?

No - then your summer tires are fine.

Yes - if its substantial amounts (more than dusting) then get some snow tires.
