New OEM Fog Light Install - Now Working!

For those whose cars didn't come with the OEM fogs, you can now install the OEM parts to have it working as OEM. I performed this on my 2013 SE hatchback.

BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE:
Check your passenger foot-well BCM fuses. Fuse 75 should have a 15amp fuse in there already. If not, try to place a fuse in there, if the fuse falls out, your car is not pre-wired for this. This commonly occurs in 2012+ S and SE sedans, refer to the other foglight thread (link at the bottom).

What you'll need:
CM5Z11654A - Switch Assembly
The switch assembly is based off the split fog/trunk release design for 2013-2014 models. This will replace the single button design.

CV6Z15K867B - Wiring Harness
The wiring harness is $15.xx from your local dealership, I found this easier than paying $10-11 + shipping online. If you order all your parts from the same place online, then you'll probably save a few bucks.

4F9Z15200AA - Fog Lights (2)
The fog lights can be OEM or OEM replacement. You'll need 2 of these obviously. With 2 bolts and nuts for each lamp.

Fog light surrounds (2)
I don't remember the part number but this can easily be found on eBay in various finishes.

ELM327 - OBDII Reader
Or similar USB/Bluetooth reader. My cheap $9 one worked just fine.

Focccus/Forscan - Editing Programs
Focccus to write to the BCM to enable the fogs. Forscan to clear any DTCs.

Basic tools, jack and stands
To install the fogs by removing the under panel and popping off clips.

Programming:
Use the Focccus thread if you are unfamiliar with how to do this. Simply change #18 Foglamp to "Foglamp". I'm sure "Foglamp US" will also work, I don't know the difference.
Clear any DTCs with Forscan.

Installation:
Remove both forward underpanels and fog blanks/covers, this will make access easier.

Install both fog lights using 2 bolts per side.

The driver side (Left) should have a harness connector to the right of the driver fog light. Pop it out and pull off the connector cover, plug in your new harness. Leave it hanging.

Plug in the connectors to the fog lights. Obviously the short end is going to be on the driver side. Look at the plugs, the brown wire should be on the left (driver side) and the striped wire should be on the right. There are no other markings so make sure it's plugged in correctly, otherwise you have to take the underpanel off again.

Uninstall your original switch by popping off the triangular panel to the side of the dash, pull back some of the rubber weatherstripping. I used a couple flat head screwdrivers covered in a nitrile glove to prevent scratching. It easily pops off. The switch has 4 silver prongs that keep it in place (2 top, 2 bottom). Squeeze the prongs on each side and push it out. Kinda tricky, it might help to pop out the bottom of the vent surround to get better access. Once the switch is loose, unplug the 6pin connector on the back.

Install your new switch, connect the plug in the same orientation you disconnected it. Test the switch (make sure your headlights are set to on). Test the fog and trunk release buttons. Then pop everything back in place.

Pop in all the little plastic clips of the wiring harness underneath and tidy up the rest of the wire harness with zip ties.

Install your fog surrounds by popping them into place.

Reinstall the underpanels.

Troubleshooting if your switch doesn't work:
Did you plug in the fogs in the correct orientation?
Did you correctly write the BCM change?
Does your car even have the fuse in slot 75?

Here's the original fog light installation thread.

For questions regarding the programming, refer to the Focccus thread.

I got a couple parts off some forum members and ebay, so pricing will vary.

You can message Village Ford for a quote, or try other sites like Tascaparts.

Maybe the 13 hatches are the only lucky ones. I'll check out a 14 se hatch when I can to see too.
