Factory Build Information

Hi All, is anyone able to get the information from the Michigan factory where my 2012 Focus was built? I know they track the body from the weld shop all the way through to the rail yard. They usually have an in house history of the car (date and time for entering and exiting certain shops, repair/damage issues, a complete history of the car while it was still at the factory). If I provided a VIN could someone run it through the QC system and get the information for me? I mainly want it my own curiosity but it is nice to know if a problem crops up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Ford Employees can. They don't need the VIN, but it helps. A dealer number and order number are all that is needed. There are those out there who will do it, but it is on their own time and can be a bother for them. If you Google (how to track a Ford order by VIN) then some instructions are given using the Fleet Number, but you might have to speak with a customer service rep. That's all I know. . .
