Is there a snap ring

Is there a snap ring on the inside of the cv axel, like inside the transmission? Just trying to figure out if i have transmission issues because of improper install or removal

Yes the SVT has a ring (not really a snap ring) on the trans side of the CV Axle

If someone tried to pull that through anyways, what kind of damage could happen?

it is a ring that is loosely around the axle. your supposed to slam it in so that it pops in. pushing it in will not damage anything. that is what is supposed to happen. it is a pain to get out.
