Which junction box are you referring to...the Battery Junction Box (under the hood) or the Central Junction Box (under the dash)???

If trying to use positions that were not being used before like adding something look close, the unused slots have no electrical contacts in them and cannot be used. No wires running to them underneath either.

The power cables are known to go bad on these. Check for melting inside the insulation, since some can look fine from the outside but be a right mess inside.
Same for grounds.

Remember lots of circuits are only hot with key in ON or START positions.

Fuse condition means nothing, you have to have power to that fuse......................you have to sort that out as he says. The power manifold going into bottom of fusebox is NOT known for going bad, but incompetence can change that quicker than spit. There is at least one buss link connecting more than one circuit there IIRC. I rebuilt the entire fusebox once, fun..................and added like 10 more circuits while doing so for possible future use.

Fusebox and main wiring harness are all considered one part there.
