problem stil there

So i replaced my solenoid A like the code said. took it for a drive and all my problems are still there. when it shifts from 2-3 (automatic) it slips, then after it hits fourth (at about 45mph) if i go up a hill or try to accelerate it will get stuck and slowl accelerate. then slowing down, if i dont slow down to 20mph itll get stuck in third and trying to take a turn is a night mare because I cant accelerate.

i tried turning my o/d off and everything seems to work fine then. it still slips every now and then but that has happened for as long as ive owned the car. so were wondering if it as something to do with the overdrive? i believe though there is a solenoid for that too correct? until i get this fixed im going to drive with my overdrive off though. my dad told me id be alright even on the highway except itll just suck my gas.

can i get an input on this? and how to fix it? is it a solenoid issue? or something deeper to do with my o/d? has anyone ever experienced this?

CEL = check engine light, I guess maybe not the case for you, but more like the trans light. In any case, you said he reset it.

The solenoid itself may not have been bad, but whatever wiring to it may be the culprit.

oh, no my bad the engine light hasnt come on again since its been reset. i checked the wire and everything seemed fine.

like i said it only messes up when i have overdrive on. if i turn it off and drive everything shifts fine. still slips between 2-3 but like i said thats happened since day one of owning that car.
