Thanks guys. I just got the battery charger hooked up to it literally 5 mins ago. So ill go out and try to start it in a few hours. Hopefully the engine isn't really bad and she'll crank right over.... but she'll be loud with no exhaust after the cat.

Update: the engine did not start. It just clicked, don't know if the engine is locked up or the starter is bad. My next thing to do is take the belt off and try to crank the engine by hand.

Keep at it! I'd hate to see your Focus get scrapped or parted out, especially considering all the work put into it so far. You and that red "Anya" car are the two SPIs I've looked up to on these forums. I'd be sad to hear that one of my sources of inspiration has been reduced to scrap metal!

Thanks man, means a lot. It looks as if the motor is toast. I think I'm just going to pull it, put it on the engine stand and start a rebuild for the winter that's if the block isn't bad. Oil looks fine to me so not really sure what's going on inside.

BTW me and david got together once, just before the spi went out.
