Wrapping my headers?
I want to wrap my headers, so I was wondering if anyone knows how much wrap I'd need and/or how much it would cost?
I have the stock SVT Cosworth long-tube headers. Thanks! |

The better one to use and most expensive is the titanium wrap. It does the best job and keeping the heat retained and it looks cool as an extra benefit. CFM a sponsor/vendor on here sells it.

The titanium wrap that was suggested is a real good one, but it doesn't last very long. Mine lasted 4 months ... but then again, I AutoX my ride, so I am not sure if all of that extra heat weakened the wrap as well.
Plus we live in a very very humid state, TX. So that could also contribute to the short life of mine. DEI makes great wraps. look into them. -Ray-

Mine eventually rotted away too. If you use the wrap spray stuff (usually right next to the wrap at the auto parts store) it supposed to help it from rotting away has quickly. Mine last a couple of years, but if you touched it, it would just fall apart. I also used the cheapest stuff I could find (ebay FTW!).

How did your header look after the wrap rotted off? Any rust problems?
