Anyone know if there's any way to edit video footage from your go pro?

Editing no you will have to transfer it to your computer then use video editing software like Sony Vegas pro to edit.

I'm sure you could use windows movie maker to edit it as well. I'm surprised GoPro don't include or at least recommend a editing software.

Windows movie make is fine for some basic edits, though once you learn how to use other software the quality of he video improves.

If you navigate on the GoPro website they have software you can download for free that i am going to try out.

http://gopro.com/software-app/cineform-studio

So far it seems like a great piece of software for clipping videos. It is super easy to use to!!!
