'04 FF base model

Greetings.... I am having an issue with my ignition switch....it won't turn. I know how to remove the tumbler assembly, but cannot turn the key to get it to that point. Any pointers on how to remove the ignition tumbler assembly without destroying the metal housing around it?

Can you remove the key? Hopefully you can or else your screwed.

If not then insert your key, Tap the back side of the key. This helps the tumblers move into place and with a little paitience it should turn. once you get it to trun remove that sucker and get a new one. A locksmith can provide and key a new one for you for $100 or less.
