thats alot of hoods... i know most group buys on here struggle to get 20...

This. I didn't want to be blunt but focus owners are cheap.(sorry if that offends anyone ) they want certain things for their cars but once they see the price they back out. Seen it happen a lot on here which is why I don't engage in group buys if I know it'll cost a good amount at a fair price. Do I think you can sell a few? Yes. 100? No.

Well, the only thing that distinguishes an RS hood from a Focus hood are the vents. So please explain how autozone vents are any different.


And trust me, no vents are going on my car, ever.


What you should do instead is study the design of the factory hood and make something that is a one-off that people will actually want without question so you can sell them en-masse.
The US Mk II Focus takes a lot of influence from the old EU Escort RS and Sierra RS. Take a look at their respective designs and come up with something inspired instead of a hack job ripped off from the wrong car.

RS hood vents are FUNCTIONAL and not crappy plastic. they are fiberglass, and serve a purpose, the hoods are going to be complete F/G or possibly C/F fully funcional. not CHEAP PLASTIC STICK ON CRAP.

The first hoods in the pipe are for the MKIII. so once they are done you can see how the product should turn out.
