What general interest/news type car websites do you visit?

A couple of the old standards have really, really gone downhill for me. Autoblog is just an AOL mouthpiece (with the stupidest commenters that make me wonder what happened to the car enthusiasts who used to post on that site?!) and what the hell has happened to Jalopnik?

That site used to have excellent, snappy writing that was funny and professional, and the commenters were surprisingly intelligent (although they always used a secret language I never totally understood). Lately it seems to be written by immature 13 year olds who think it's super cool to drop f-bombs. I'm not a conservative prude but I see no need for profanity and off-color jokes in an article about a car.

What sites are you guys visiting? The only one left for me right now is The Truth About Cars. I'd love to hear some suggestions for new places to visit.

Well, Focus Fanatics first and foremost of course. Its number one on my most visited in google chrome lol. Imgur (which is an awesome website full of awesome pictures for those who are unfamiliar, its seriously entertaining) and I'll drop in on FocalJet from time to time. Ford Compacts Northwest as well. I used to be really big into the tech website Engadget (they cover car electronics and electric cars too), but they are now owned by AOL as well, and several prominent authors have since left. I rarely go there anymore. Another one I love is TheChive.com, its like imgur except there are a few sections that can be slightly NSFW. The Awesomer is a cool website about new cars, gadgets, and videos and songs and just general stuff that's awesome, its worth visiting... I'm also on Ducati.ms and DesmoNorthwest from time to time.

Then webcomics. I've read every Cyanide and Happiness, and every XKCD. Those are my favorites, followed closely by Doghouse Diaries. No storyline in any of them, just witty observations that are applicable to 95% of people.

I used to sit at an information desk at a hospital 4 hours a day minimum, so I had a lot of time to kill. I've been to far reaches of the interwebs, untouched by mankind since the days of Netscape Navigator and Dial-Up modems.

I meant general interest car websites, but... share anything, thats fine with me! I'm always open for checking out stuff. I found out about The Oatmeal from someone posting one of the comics on here I think.

I don't go to a lot of car websites,this one and the one for my 95 f150 are the only ones I frequent on a daily basis.

I totally agree with Jalopnik and autoblog are both not as good as they used to be.

Motoiq.com is generally pretty good
Grassrootsmotorsports forums are still pretty good, I am always a fan of the hotlinking pics thread, though NSFW for me.
Insideline.com can have some interesting test and comparison, just ignore (or laugh at) the GT-R vs. Vette fanboy comments that pop up
NASIOC is ok, can be entertaining to read newbs getting crushed
Once and a while Speedhunters.com has some cool cars, just dodge the hella flush kids and the brotatoes
bringatrailer.com and garagejournal.com for future hopes and dreams :D
