PLS HELP!! Noise when taking off: clutch or brake

Hi
My SVTF just got some noises when taking off, it sounds like metal squeezes. I dont know how exactly to explan but like when brake rotor is humid and you step on the brake you will hear that noise. I dont know it from brake or clutch or even the power steering coz it mostly happens only when taking off at 1st gear. Any recomendation??
PS: 45K miles and brake pad looking so fine but fluid is so low
Also which brake pad, brake rotor and clutch will you guys recomend if it need to be replaced & where to get it?

Thank you so much

Wow 45K has got to be the most mileage I have heard fo on a SVTF so far, anyway what you are hearing probably actually IS your barking system.

When you launch hard the TCS controller kicks in (even if you have it off it's on under 20 mph) so the TCS is using your brakes to attempt to stop wheel spin as well as it can.

If you have 45K on your brakes you should definitely replace the pads if not the rotors too. Depending on what you are looking to spend there are tons of options.

Mintex or EBC pads are my personal recommendation. There are tons of options on rotors depending on what you want to do and how much you want to spend.

As far as the clutch, since you are well over your 36k you are no longer under warranty so you don't have to worry about voiding that. I'd say go clutch masters, how aggressive you want it to be is dependent on what you want to do with it, just remember to break it in properly and don't get something too aggressive if you have to drive in traffic.

I am having the exact same sound at take off, except my car has under 15K. You really think it's the t.c.s.? If so should it make that sound?

It's kind of hard to diagnose a noise over the internet. I'm guessing if you're at 45,000 miles and you still have the original brakes, it's time for some new brakes. Brembo makes some nice quality rotors in our stock size.

What a sad note to end this thread on, "locked up frozen caliper."
Not my kind of solution.
