The only difference I have noticed so far it the the little yellow traffic warnings actually show up on the maps. Also, Sirius Traffic services is still working today, but I'm sure I just jinxed that!

I have not dug too deep into the POIs to see if they have been extensively updated.

It skips on all audio sources. It's a split second and while annoying, it isn't worth raising hell over IMO.

I just don't understand Ford's system.

I stopped at a dealer on the way home, explained that I had lost voice control for my climate control and that I heard there was a TSB available to fix it.

The service rep. checked for any open TSBs for my car, and promptly said "I don't see any updates available for your car."

So... I used my phone to visit this site and get him the TSB number. He then called to see if they had any A4 nav. cards in stock, but while he was on the phone he said "based on the description of the TSB, it doesn't sound like it will fix your problem."

He scheduled me for an appointment anyway, and said the he would "mention that I believe that TSB 12-11-01 will fix my problem(s)."

Always have to jump through hoops.

There system is easy to understand - their tech service people often know less about their systems than we do. They will do nothing unless told by corporate. If you had installed 3.2.2 this latest update should fix the problem. It's the least cohesive customer service I've ever experienced.

This is why Ford is falling behind in customer service and reliability.

A coworker of mine has a late model hyundai sonata and there was some issue where he looked up info on the internet which pointed to the alternator being the problem. He told this to the service rep, and the service rep said that he did not believe the alternator was the problem BUT THAT THEY WOULD REPLACE IT ANYWAY TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER HAPPY.

and the kicker? It WAS NOT the alternator. It was some other issue which they eventually fixed.

This was all under warranty btw, just like most of our issues.

What happened to the customer is always right?

I have never had a problem with service from my dealer. I work closely with one tech who does all my service work. I just wrote to him about this TSB and we will take care of it at my next oil change in about two weeks.

I'm sorry that some of you have problems.

Installed

I just installed on 2012. It was easy to install. I don't have the NAV so I didn't have to take it to the dealer. Followed the instructions. It was a snap. Climate works fine. Bluetooth pairing was easy. It has changed. No text messaging with the iPhone though. It says it is not supported now.

I have a 2012 without nav. I installed this on my own. It went without problem and took about 50 mins. Oddly, it kept my radio presets, erased my sirius presets, and deleted all of my wallpaper. It still sorely lacks in some ways but does feel to be a small improvement over 3.0.2.

Performance wise, I notice that the bluetooth pairs much better thus far which has been my biggest annoyance. It's only been a day but the bluetooth stereo connection would never keep its pairing and I'd have to fiddle with it almost everytime I entered the vehicle. After at least 5 entry/exits from the vehicle yesterday, it repaired and picked up with the bluetooth stereo everytime and thats def different than previous behavior.

Still lags a bit when pressing buttons. Don't notice much else different right now other than the outside temp being displayed again. Climate controls work fine.

Same here. Kept my fm presets. Had to redo Sirius but no big deal.

I wish that it would work with iTunes Match.
