Ok, we try one more time - WITH the Ford Cam Tool Kit.
The person I'm working with is convinced there is no further internal engine damage and thinks its just a timing issue. Thanks for your advice and suggestions. |

I also got a P1131 fault code. Definitely going into the shop soon. Bummer.

from the shop:
*check for unstable idle / scan pcm found lean fuel trims. checked for vacuum leak found faulty breather pipe and replaced *scope ignition system for misfire / worn plugs & wires *replaced plugs & wires that's all. the timing belt we replaced was done right :) saved some $ there. all done. back in action. |
