Hi, I'm Greg
aka gbshelbymi. I just acquired a 2010 Focus SE, white with the charcoal interior, 40k miles, new tires, mint condition.

Since it's getting to be winter here (detroit area), I'm going to hold off on most "mods" until spring. Starting simply, with installing the after market speakers that I pulled from my totalled 2007 Focus SE.

I kind of like the idea of upgrading the suspension and moving to 17s, and I definitely want a remote start (that may actually be done before the heart of winter sets in) - see my first thread in this forum.

I may also be interested in mods that would boost fuel economy without negatively impacting the performance of the vehicle. Advice appreciated.

I plan on driving this Focus for a long time, and I'm looking forward to participating in the community!

Welcome Greg. I am just down the road in Sterling Heights. Most of the members here are pretty cool. I am not in to modding my car as much as others, but there is a wealth of info and knowledge here. Good luck!

Well heck, I'm in the wrong forum. I don't have an MK2, just a 2010 SE Sedan.

lol no ur good . ur in the right place. i believe the 2000-2007 are mk1 , 08-11 are mk2s , and the new ones are mk3s. anyone feel free to correct me lol . as i own a mk1 i am not too up too date on that info . but yea greg ur in the right spot.

Nice car, and welcome to the forum. First thing I would do is search the MK2 forum for any mod you are thinking about doing. As someone has probably done a write up about it and there will definetly be opinions on the best products.

I myself have done very little as well. I have put in an Airaid Cold air intake (I call it that because it uses the OEM black forced air tube). I also have debadged the trunk and put a sticker over the Ford emblem on the front, back, and steering wheel.
