Most places it is illegal to tint the front windows, however its seldom enforced. If you keep the fronts at 45% or lighter youll be OK. I remember in Texas they used some little meter to test the front tinting and if it was too dark they would hand you a razor blade and make you scrape it on the spot.

Ouchies. I got 20% on every window cept the windsheild. I asked my friend's step dad about it (hes a cop) and he said cops usually dont care, but I guess some of the new police on the block might do something about it, so I just roll down the windows.

Ive got 20% on all of mine, and got pulled over once for it. The cop told me that if he cant see me its illegal, but he didnt have a light meter so he couldnt write the ticket. Made my day considering it was Easter! But if you wanna be able to backup at night I suggest not getting 20% on the front two.

I think that most cops won't care unless you are driving irresponsibly, or they are under their quota :/ I have 32% all around and I haven't gotten pulled over yet, but I've only had the tint on for a little over a month now. But whenever I do see a cop, sometimes I roll down my front windows if I get a bad feeling. lol

Cheers!

I have tint all the way around too.... Have been lucky so far ([:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]fingers crossed and knocking on wood). I did get pulled over on my Mustang though. Basically I had 2 choices (and the cop even said it too). 1) pull off the tint and show it at the station and have the ticket taken away. or 2) just pay the fine. If you go with #2 it might be more cost effective if you really want the fronts tinted. It might be cheaper than getting it re-tinted again. I can't remember what the fine was but I ended up taking it off the fronts. No one even really came out to look at it though. They took my word for it. (should've left it on )

If you tint the front/rear, remember this: if you get pulled over by a cop, he will likely approach the car with gun drawn and pointed at you because he can't see what you are doing behind the glass.
No thanks.

I got a tint ticket. 17% all the way around. Cop used that little meter thing on the window. In VA it's illegal to have anything darker that 50% on the fronts now (used to be 35%).
