For Sale: 3" Aluminized Steel ZX3 Exhaust Kit

Item Description: 3" Aluminized Steel ZX3 Exhaust Kit from Tru Bendz (aka Mandrel Exhaust Systems). It is a semi-custom kit that they made up. It is their "tubing kit" that they put an 18"x4" resonator (Dynomax Aluminized Body) in along with a muffler delete pipe (was going to be put on a turbo car), complete flexpipe with no flanges, the straight pipe section has no flanges and it comes with all the hangers they just aren't welded on. Also the kit has no shiny, pretty tip so it is about 8" longer than normal so that it could be cut to the correct length once on the car. My intention was to use v-band flanges and clamps (which I will include (see in pics)). Also it comes with 2 standard U clamps for the 2 slip fit sections. The kit has been sitting in my basement in the original box since I got it about April of 2011. There are a couple of extremely tiny patches of surface rust (see pictures). I paid $450 shipped when I got it and then I got the v-band flanges and clamps from Jegs.

To make my post a little clearer, I'll break the post down to the brass tacks.

3" Aluminized Steel ZX3 Exhaust Kit from Mandrel Exhaust Systems is $330. A 3" Aluminized Steel flex pipe is $140. Total is $470 before shipping. I am including 3 v-band clamp/collar kits (3 clamps, 6 collars (flanges)) $44.99 a piece ($134.97)from Jegs. For a total of $604.97 before shipping.

Yes the buyer will have to take this to a shop to have it all welded up. If they take it to a place that does good work, this kit will fit better than any "bolt on" kit you can get from MES because it will be fit to their individual vehicle. Will the v-band flanges seal better than the standard two bolt flanges that require gaskets that would come on the "bolt on" kit? Yes.

The tubing kit is $195, the resonator add on is $80, three v-band flange kits $134.97 ($44.95 a piece). Total $409.97 before shipping.

Plus there is no lead time with what I am selling. It is boxed and ready to ship.

i like the kit , and don`t mind having to do work , however for me to buy it by the time its shipped would cost me closer to 600 , for that price i could get local , However it is a nice setup ,
