please tell me you're joking lol

Not trying to be a smarta$$, but the gtr has a 3.8 liter high-revving V6, a completely different engine.

Seems like nowadays if a company wants their V6 in the 3.5-3.7 range to be competetive, it needs to be pushing 300hp. And I think Nissan has that technology, but I'm not sure why they didn't use it...

I was never a fan of the GTR looks-wise, but now it's Nissan's best looking car. Sad. Maxima - Ruined. Altima - Ruined. Sentra - Really Ruined. Versa - Never had a chance. Cube - Gag. Juke - OMG, My Eyes. I suppose the XTerra will be the next one to get neutered.

It is weird though, it's like, if you have the technology to make your engines better, why would you still leave them so much less powerful than the competition?

Now, it they made a competitor to the Cherokee SRT-8, I would have so much respect for Nissan.

But that's doubtful haha

It's looking that way to me also. I used to own a 2008 Altima coupe and LOVED it. The styling was nice, the ergonomics fit me perfectly, and the ride was smooth. It wasn't a great handling car by any stretch of the imagination and it was slow, but it was a nice looking car. Each new version seems to look worse than the last.

Save for the GT-R, Z and to a lesser extent the Frontier,Nissan has seemed to have lost its way as far as combining performance and decent interiors at a modest price.

Imagine how loved that rocket would be if it didn't look like a psychotic insect.
