2013 Cosworth CS330 Concept Focus ST

Hey FF,
I'm here covering SEMA and I saw this new Focus ST Concept that I think you would like.

Here is the Cosworth CS330. A team effort by M&J Enterprises, Ford, Cosworth LLC. and Ford Racing. The Cosworth team gave the engine and ECU a stage one power level kit to raise the Horsepower to 330 (from 252) and 323 ft. pounds of torque (from 270). This is currently a concept specialty vehicle.

Here are the details from Ford:

Powertrain
  • Cosworth turbo upgrade
  • Intercooler upgrade
  • ECU flash
  • Forged pistons
  • Forged connection rods
  • High performance cams
  • Ford Racing air intake system
  • Ford Racing cat-back exhaust system

Chassis
  • Ford Racing Performance Parts
  • Coilover suspension system
  • Big-Brake front kit with slotted rotors w/ brake pads and stainless steel brake lines

See more pics at the link below.

Oddly, what I like the most about this are the hood vents...

Sharp looking car

Yeah! The hood vents are the sht! But I think I like the side skirts the best...

Not big on the diffuser, a bit too gaudy for me, but overall, beautiful car!

It would look better with two less doors.

I see more Foci.

I thought that the ST already had forged internals.....does anyone know the scoop?

Looks amazing, but the biggest plus is the 78HP increase

I like that they have swapped turbo's, first i have heard of some one doing that. So far I have only seen SCT tuning to boost the numbers and those dyno's looked limited towards the higher rpm's.

Also, what is going on on the rear end? Did they just slap a Cosworth badge on there and a model number sticker? Doesnt look too thought out at all. I do like the round exhuast tips though, looks better on a car than some odd geometric shape thats on the stock ST.
