wanna go fast need some opinions
1. Best place to find a 67mm throttle body?
2. Do underdrive pulleys help much? 3. Ive heard the factory air box is awesome....but if u run an air tube down to the bottom grill does it help more?? |

leave the svt airbox alone.. cfm makes great throttle bodies..not a power adder only throttle response.. you want power? boost. too much money? nitrous.. get a tune and nitrous youll be happy.

Considering the SVT motor is pretty much internally maxed out when it comes to power, the only thing you can really do is a tune or FI. Throttle body will do very little feel wise and absolutely nothing for actual power. Under drive pulleys are a waste of money. The air box is the best for the money for a standard ZETEC but a CAI would probably be better.

Wow....that sucks bad....ive already gotten rid of it to someone else...lol.....but when i swapped it for a shortram it felt like it come alive...i was impressed....was u referring to the throttle response toward the underdrive pulleys? I plan on boost and nitrous in the next year.

The svt team squeezed eery possible hp out of that engine.. A tune would release a little bit more and better idle and throttle.. The 65mm throttle will improve the throttle,.. pulleys are a waste.. And there was a number u can call where u wld get ur certificate from.. A lot of ppl here have that certificate

I ran my air tube to the bottom grille so I could fit a larger scoop for more fresh/cooler air. Doesn't add any noticeable power, only lowers intake temps.
