help needed
fluid leak from clutch pedal,also,lacking oomph in power.hi all,new member needin
help and advice on cuple issues plz,fluid leakin at base of clutch pedal,advised most likely to be clutch master cylinder,rate??? also,i dont seem 2 av that pullin power,only gradual speed increase,any ideas as to why?if any other info could narrow problem dwn,will try my best.many thanx

Yes.
Fluid lean on/near the clutch peddle is almost always the Clutch Master Cylinder. Replace with Motorcraft part. Lack of power could be a few things. The 'steady acceleration' to me says that it may be a problem with the Throttle Position Sensor or the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Both should throw a code if there is a problem (check engine light). But sometimes the light won't illuminate. Best bet is to use a scan tool and check for codes through the OBDII port (bottom of dash near the hood release). If any codes are found, write them down and post back with what they are. Go from there. |

dnt av scan tool myself,wil need 2 take it garage 2 get any codes,soon as i av codes wil repost them.cheers 4 the info iminhell.
