I did it, Swap 2002 SVT leather seats with red inserts in my 2005 zx5. Had to switch the plugs and the passenger air bag sensor. BUT you have a 2000 zx3 so you don't have the air bag sensor in the passenger seat and I think your plugs will be plug and play.. But not shure .

My heated seat plug dont work because the two harnest are different (from 00/04 to 05/07).

Fot the rest, it,s bolt on and easy to swap them !

I have the wire harness that is set up for all that, it came out of an svt. The seat plugs were cut off for some reason as well as the connection to the hatch. I'd sell it SUPER CHEAP if you feel like finding new plugs for the seats and just splicing in your existing hatch wiring.
Other than that it should be plug n play.

Thanks but I swaped the harness from my 05 zx5 ses .both plugs are fom a 05. even the seat belt and airbag sensor for the passenger seat^^ It was a complete swap..but the heated seats were to difficult to swap :P

I had to take off the leather trim from the passenger seat, the cushion and put it in his place and put back the cushion and leather trim^^ a real pain in the a$$ but eh I just love my seats now :)

Lol that was directed to mattmoz. But it's good to know your setup worked good other than heated. I would do the swap as well if I could find a nice set for a good price. Got my annual bonus so got some money to spend but want a nice set.
