lamin-x,tail lights,hatch

has anybody else done this instal with the pre cut kit? pritty mutch impossible to align perfectly with all the curves. just when u think you have it perfect you realize it doesn't fit somewhere else.fit for me was horrible.

word of advise if your going to use lamin-x email them and ask for a piece big enough to fit then trim.

or do what i think im going to do and go with niteshades.

btw i work with vinyl everyday at my job so i would consider myself good with a squeegee.

beyond impossible. . .i had a certified lamin-x installer attempt it and they could not get it to fit either. I have been looking at some other way to tint them without blacking them out, but am unsure of what to do

I would just go with an uncut sheet myself, apply it and trim it to fit. You get the benefits of a vinyl tint and then it'd fit properly.

Be ware of tinting taillights without taping off the reverse light. Most states will allow tinted tails as long as the reverse lights are not tinted as well. Otherwise you could be facing a fix-it ticket

Can't say I understand it either. No matter what the car though theres always folks who decide they need to make it look more ghetto. Can people see when you have your lights on even? Ran into one of these people on the interstate the other night and it was hard to see their car at all.

personally I love a slight tint on the tails, VW comes to mind. I like being able to see into the light though, it adds an almost graphic element to the car.
