OBD II Code B1318
Just received a B1318 code after connecting my reader. It has to do with the SRS system. It says that the battery voltage is low but checked it and it read 12 volts. Is that to low? Also says to replace the the alternator but it is a new one. Any suggestions? Thanks

The Good Stuff
Focus's have a bad habbit of junk and non functioning alternators after a few Knd miles. Be carefull what you replace it with. I'd rather take my dead unit to an experienced technician to rebuild than buying scrap over the counter. It's quite a job digging that altinator out so do yourself a favor and replace with a high quality unit if possible. jmo.
