Would You Trade ST for Escape

Hey Fellow fanatics, Stuck in a rut and looking for a push. Winter is coming here in good ole' Alberta and wondering if I should put some new tires on my 05 ST or just say to hell with it and go shopping for the 2013 Escape and offer my 05 Focus ST on trade. That ecoBoost is sure tempting and it may deliver close MPG to what this car is getting if driven sanely. Trying to decide. :^)

Just came back from a look see at the new Escapes.
Something in 4WD and ecoBoost I'm looking at 30,000 plus.
Nice ride in that you sit higher up and all,
lots of bell and whistles, almost too pimp for my simple needs.
My ST only has 81,000 kms so I really doubt that a trade in would
be worth while at the dealer anyway.
Just was attracted to the swap your ride campaign I guess.

You guys talked me into it, tire shopping it is.

Can't off-road a focus...so point #1 is mute. You can 4wheel and camp in the other 3 seasons.

Its apples to oranges really and you are obviously going to get pro-focus answers here. Just trust your gut. If you tired of the focus, swap, otherwise keep it.

Sometimes I miss my SVT and other times I don't. One thing can be said though...upgrading an already turbo'd car is way easier.
