2000 se low idle stall

This has interestingly been troubling me, I was reading some information on the forum and decided to post and ask for help. My sohc focus has been idling running rough and now stalling.. I changed out the ecv hose and ecv valve which I got from a Ford dealer. I changed the plugs and wires and it seems to be idling really low and dying whenever I let off the gas. I can rev her and give her gas and she stays running. I have installed the previous and some new o2 censors. Any idea guys?

Sorry to double post. When I start her in the morning and rev her she runs and idles fine. Once I shut her off after a drive she runs rough and stalls from a low idle. Previous ecv hose had holes on both end and even though ecv valve wasn't to bad replaced it anyway.

I'd start by replacing the fuel filter.

I changed it last summer and have a brand new one ready to go in. I'd hate to change it myself as there is hardly any room to install. Perhaps that could be it. I hope it's something simple



Edit: I haven't changed fuel filter in 2 years since before I drove her back from California to Indiana. I appreciate the help guys as I build computer and am starting to get into cars

Fuel filter has been changed, and the previous, new plus wires and o2 sensors. I'm beginning to wonder if it's the iac. Should I clean it or replace it, and if I do clean it will the gasket hold to reinstall it? After the ecv it isn't running rough just a idling low and stalling dying out

I have a DOHC that was dying at lights, idling very low, no CEL. In coil was bad, one cylinder not firing. Easy to check

I have a split port sohc. Had electrical issues out of no where. Replaced alternator battery wouldn't charge. Took off plug to alternator, I believe 3 pin, start car wait for battery light and rev hard and light gets brighter. And charges normal
