I get that or slightly better all the time. 87oct where ever I feel like filling up and using the cruise control as often as possible. Stock SE alloy wheels and tires.

2012 SEL hatchback with auto. About 1800 miles per month on the highway at 70-75mph and 38.3mpg (hand calculated) average per tank in the last 15 months. 99% of the time I use Exxon 87oct with 10% ethanol since that's the most convenient station on both ends of my daily trips.

31.5 MPG straight E85 with Unleashed tune, Spectre filter no lid, and SU rmm as only mods. Floor it on every on-ramp though. About 90 miles a day highway and maybe 10 in town, but this is Iowa so there really isn't too much stop and go either way.

Car completely stock--87 oct gas. I reset trip meter just after setting cruise on trip to Ft.Myers at 60MPH. I was seeing just what car could get on the highway. I saw as high as 48.7 MPG but as I got more south the hiller it became. Dash picture tell a lot of it.

DCT
75mph ~ 37mpg
70mph ~ 40mpg
65mph ~ 43mpg
Here in Tampa, FL its flat highway driving with very slight inclines. Temps in the 90 with high humidity.
No mods. Just stock.
EDIT: Oh Ive used 93 since I got it in March. IF and IF Torque(App) is right I dont usually see timing being pulled under load. So its for the drivability.

My best was 52mpg driving on hilly highway at 50-55mph with my wife. Winter gas seems to take off close to 10% mpg.

On my normal commute I am averaging 46mpg at 60mph with 80% highway in pre or post rush hour traffic, but still get caught more than half the time in some slow-down or stop and go. People here around Boston drive full retard. I am sure I am getting better fuel economy than ANY Boston Prius driver. They wiz by me even when I am in my Boss going 70+. That might help you people fortunate enough to not live here how stupid us ms are.
