With a JBR RMM, mine has firmed up even a little more. I have been plenty happy with the shifting, it's confidence inspiring while still remaining comfortable for daily driving.

I like the stock shifter on my ST2 a lot. I don't think the throw is very long either. It was for sure a hell of a lot shorter than my 2000 SE and from what I can remember as well its shorter than my 2003 ZX3 was as well.

I am actually pretty happy with the shifter. I do think the knob could use improvement, although the stock knob is only second in feel to my MINI coopers, Which I replaced with a whalen shift machine.

For now, I made my own 2" Ball style knob out of teflon, which is nice, but it really needs something more substantial with weight like AL, SS or TI. I'd make my own but I would spend more on bar stock and drill bits than 3 knobs. I drilled the tapped hole as deep as I could and it lowered the knob about another 1/2" .

Hint, Hint, wheres the aftermarket knobs?

stock shifter are fine for me, but short-throw are sweet. I wonder how many company beside Ford Racing will made short-throw kit for the ST?

I thought the stock shifter was perfect on the ST I drove. Not a fan of the clutch, but it would be something I'd have to get used to I suppose.

The jbr solid shifter bushings help until a shifter comes out. I installed mi e last weekend.
