that's ghey, can't quite justify trading my SE for an ST, and I wanted that blower.

Or email someone else who will design a blower!

But yeah I'd say with the option of the ST coming turboed stock - we'll be hard pressed to see any major engine modification capabilities.

that should just give them more of a reason to do it. they should know that not everyone goes and gets a new car every year, and some people enjoy modding. If someone went and just bought a 2012, i dont believe they want to go and get a 2013, that doesnt have that great of a turbo, when they can build thier current car they way that THEY want it. it makes no sense to me. Thats the point of modding right? building a car to your liking? Im sure someone will make a kit for it, but only if theres enough intrest, which there seems to be.

I sure would like to have a blower as well for my autoX..! It was easier to find performance parts for crown victoria... wonder why the Focus market isn't appealing..

I was at an open house event at Roush with a couple other guys on here. I'll direct them to this thread as well.

The biggest issue they had with making a supercharger was being too much of a direct competitor with the ST. We did suggest to them that they should continue with the stylin roush body kit and perhaps do some form of good intake/ehaust tune package as well as some suspension work and they took all the info down but I personally haven't heard anything from them in a while This was back around MI's woodward dream cruise time frame (mid august)

I haven't heard much from them since that meeting at Roush, but they basically said the Roush FS3 focus would cost more than an ST for similar power numbers, so they deemed it not worth it.

I would agree with that if they were producing the car.

But I'd like to see after market blower, intake, exhaust, tuning kits from Roush rather than a full car.

They won't make an aftermarket blower. The r&d it takes costs too much money when the Same power will be made as an ST.

The blower you all saw, wasn't even real. It was a mock up.

They can't compete directly with the ST as they are partners with Ford and that just wouldn't work.
